I’m sure there are quite a few GNU/Linux users who own this great gadget (read: slave). I was wondering what do you guys use to control the robot?
I have mine equipped with a RooTooth, and it works great when I control it using my wife’s cellphone. I haven’t, on the other hand, found a good [...]
I’m always finding good uses for my ‘old’ laptop! I just wish I had more old computers laying around so I could come up with ideas on how to use them.
I’ve always wanted to have a good disaster recovery solution implemented at home, who would also take care of my Internet hosts. After several attempts [...]

I found this game by accident and I’m completely addicted to it. I was a big fan of Lemmings, but I never bothered to Google for a clone on the F/LOSS world.
I recommended this game to every Lemmings fan. The game is available on official repositories, even though it’s not the latest version. GetDeb.net has [...]

All the documentation I founded was old or outdated, so I created a new Wiki page on Ubuntu’s Wiki on how to setup a IPv6-In-IPv4 tunnel.
I’ve been using it mostly for IRC, but I’m sure [...]

oozie made a great work and has instructions on his website.
huawei.tar.bz2 is [...]
Since I’ve been using Blackbox for a while now I decided I needed a simple way of checking the battery level (using it on my my Thinkpad).
After a simple Google search I found a weblog with the perfect solution. Placed in /usr/bin/ a simple batmon (renamed) tells me my battery level.
(Don’t forget to make it [...]

I’ve heard allot of great things about Synergy but today was the first time I had the need to use it.
My mother has a Windows laptop (soon to be changed to Ubuntu 7.04) which I use when I attend LAN Parties. It has a few FPS games I wanted to play during these relaxed vacations.
Since [...]

The recent version of TrueCrypt doesn’t allow non-US ASCII characters. This means that é ã ê à, etc, are not supported on the passphrase.
Just a little tip for the developers.
This restriction was not present on older versions of TC, so maybe, changing stuff from night to day and leaving users with no way of [...]
